Crowdmark is a platform that facilitates online collaborative grading and provides feedback to students. It offers two types of assessments: Administered and Assigned. Administered Assessments are printed and distributed to students. Once completed, the assessments are scanned and uploaded for online grading. Assigned Assessments are emailed to students to complete and then uploaded by the student for online grading.
UBC offers support for Crowdmark, however funding for the service is granted on a per-department basis. Instructors wishing to use Crowdmark should first check with their respective departments to determine if funding is available. Once they have received this confirmation, instructors can submit a request to set up their assessment(s) before getting started.
Please complete the Learning Tool Setup Request Form for Crowdmark, and include the following information in the Additional Details section of the form:
- The course name(s), course number(s), and section number(s)
- Which term(s) the course(s) is being offered
You will be notified via email once setup is complete for your course(s). Information on how to access, set up, print, and grade your assessment(s) can be found in the Crowdmark Help Center.
