Since the roll-out of ChatGPT in November 2022, educators have had much to learn and consider when it comes to the use (or not) of Generative AI (GenAI) tools in their classroom. With the goal of counterbalancing the hype and enabling an evidence-based and expertise-informed discourse around the value-add of GenAI for science education, Emma Davy and Noureddine Elouazizi developed a workshop to address common questions and better equip educators to make informed decisions about the use of GenAI in their courses.
